It makes me happy to capture a family that is so near and dear to me.
I’m thankful that our children have the opportunity to grow up together.. just as we did.
Soo many happy memories! ..and many more in the making. :)
My husband & I celebrated our 15th anniversary this year.
I can hardly believe it’s been so long since we walked down the aisle!
It’s been more fulfilling than I could imagine.
We married young and it’s been a wild adventure at times. :)
Jason is mellow, a dreamer, he is also a rebel, silly, & ridiculous.
He is handsome, affectionate, my best friend… he holds my heart forever.
I believe it’s chemistry that drew us together and friendship that keeps our love strong.
I’m thankful for the love of my life. I love you Jason!
Photos by my talented sis, Alisia K.
Thank you! xx
Hello, it’s been awhile!
I took a little break from work & blogging over the summer.
I wanted to enjoy it without much interuption.
My babies all went off to school this year,
and for the first time in a very long time, it’s just me at home during the day.
I don’t think I’m ever ready for these life changes,
but I’ve decided maybe it is time to pursue a few dreams I have.
So far I’ve kept myself busy with a project that is delighting my heart.
I am looking forward to sharing more about it in the future!
ok, School portaits..
Something that happens each August when School comes around.
I feel compelled to drag out my lights and take good old fashioned school year book portaits.
It seems like a great time to document my children’s growth & favorites in a video interview.
They change so much! It’s fun to compare their answers from year to year.
All packed up and ready for the first day back to school.
I am adding a few new prints to my SHOP today.
I challenged myself to design my own art prints for a collage in my master bedroom.. and here are the results.
I am adding several versions to the shop.
The style is rustic & handpainted wood with with a splash of coral & gold floral sprays.
All art prints are printed on thick art poster paper. (non photographic)
Mother’s Day is this weekend, and my heart is full. :)
I truly LOVE my role as a mother more with each passing year.
Sometimes I wonder how I could have been so lucky?
These children of mine are so sweet & deeply caring, it makes my heart ache sometimes.
It’s important to me that they grow up understanding what true love is.
I want them to know how much I love them, but also how much more deeply God loves them.
Understanding this unconditional love is the best example we have to love others.
I hope you have a special Mother’s day!
I talked husband into manning the camera for this fun session with Autumn & I one afternoon.
I will say, he did a fine job.. so many keepers! :) I love a retro laundromat.
(wish I would have tucked my oldest in here too.. what was I thinking?)
