We have been covered up with the flu virus for the last few weeks.
It’s taking all my energy for the moment,
but not to worry.. we have been eating soup, watching movies and making plans.
Here is a fun assignment that I’ve had tucked away for awhile.. :)
(One of our favorite treats)
1/2 cup popcorn kernals
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
Salt to taste
Heat oil in a large kettle over medium heat.
Then, toss in three kernels, and place the lid on the kettle.
Wait for the kernels to pop.
Once popped, quickly stir in the sugar, and add the remaining kernels.
Replace the lid, and listen for the kernels to start popping.
Once the popping has slowed to once every 2 to 3 seconds,
remove the pot from the heat and transfer to bowl.
Then, salt to taste, and enjoy!
(*extra info.. I use this popper, use coconut oil and season with freshly ground sea salt)
