Ooh, Isn’t she graceful? I am so drawn to the graceful movements of dance!
I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed my session with Alex Tummons, Miss Springfield’s Outstanding Teen.
This session is special to me because it gave me the opportunity to stretch my imagination and capture this magical form of art.
As with several of my sessions this year, I designed the dress and styled the session.
I am grateful to have clients that appreciate my ability to do this and trust me to capture their beauty in a unique way.

Do you think his teacher will notice? I expect a worried call from her anytime. :)
Sigh, I dread this morning a little each year. The sight of the yellow school bus is bittersweet.
My family.. I chose a fun circus/carnival style for our session.
As a kid I have alot of memories of happy carefree days …riding roller coasters
water rides, and eating a bit too much of the sugary stuff! My kids love it too. : )
Thank you Kriscinda… I am SOo excited about my little family’s photos! I will treasure them always.
I always look forward to a summer visit with one of my best friends and cousin- Kriscinda
This year we swapped family photo sessions. We had alot of fun styling our sessions.. hers – vintage.
Travis and Kriscinda have 3 busy boys.
Before the boys, they were high school sweethearts, and before that.. childhood sweethearts.
These two have had a sweet love story for as long as I can remember.
The three of us went to kindergarten together, and on the first day Travis went home and told his mom.. “I want to marry Kriscinda someday!”
I love them both and I’m honored to capture their cute family and enduring love!
Introducing Tuesday’s Child Shoppe on Etsy!
My sister in law’s adorable new shop specializing in vintage style handmade children’s clothing and toys.
You can keep up with her newest Etsy collections on Facebook.
I adore her late summer yellow collection, and I’m also excited about her upcoming fall colors..
Shades of bean sprout green, iron grey, brown with accents of jonathan apple red.
I’ve already preordered an oliver & S pattern green plaid coat!
I recently read a quote that resonated with me..
“Every dollar you spend is a vote for the world you want to live in”
This is so true for all the Etsy artists that work hard to give us something unique and beautiful.
Let’s support their dreams and also become the envy of all our friends! ;)
How often do we stop to smell the flowers, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the beauty & sounds of nature?
Nature is God’s canvas and for a country girl, the setting couldn’t be more perfect!
We shot Hillary’s senior portraits on a 800 acre farm, complete with amazing views, barns, old cars, rivers and more.
A cute little grasshopper joined the fun.
a delicate butterfly in the soft light.. my favorite.
A family bible dating back from the 1700’s.
Hillary’s favorite scripture passages..
“May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it.
Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” Ephesians 3:19
“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called.” Ephesians 1:18
