I stole away my daughter from chalk & flower picking long enough to draw a winner. :) I video recorded it too…

but after several hrs trying to edit the clip into a smaller file, I realized maybe this wasn’t my day to figure out something new. :}

A big THANKS to everyone that participated in the drawing for $100. to my etsy shop Skippy Designs!

I’m thrilled to discover an amazing group of readers… ladies that are talented hobbyists, brilliant photographers & the best kind of moms.

It made my day to read through your quotes and favorite color combinations. ah! .. you have fed my crazy addiction to beautiful colors!

So many of your favorite combinations included yellow… a favorite for me too.

craft time

Time flies and children grow too quickly. Sometimes I ask myself what I can be doing to slow it down a little?

I think taking time to create moments free of distraction..

creating. playing. listening to each other will be the time that my children will remember best.

I have decided to set aside at least an evening each week to do this.

There is plenty of inspiration for craft projects…

I am glad to put to good use many of the ideas I have pulled from my favorite magazines in the past and also so excited to find
